The classic Chopped Cheese is made on a grill with ground beef and onions, topped with melted cheese, and served with lettuce, tomatoes, and condiments on a hero roll. Brian Murphy, owner and founder of Chopped Cheese, realized the potential for this New York favorite and decided to bring it to the streets of Denver, Colorado via food truck. This is how Big Apple Bodega got started. Bringing the infamous classic sandwich to the Denver community gave New Yorkers a taste of home and let-non New Yorkers have a taste of the big apple. We also offer customized versions of the Chopped Cheese sandwich including a Hawaiian one, Cuban Style, and many more. Our popularity has helped us become recognized as a unique brand in the food industry, one that shines a light on the flavorful deconstructed cheeseburger known as Chopped Cheese!
There is currently no Chopped Cheese franchise available on the market today. This is what makes Big Apple Bodega such a one-of-a-kind and profitable business venture. With such
possibilities, we are offering you the chance to come on board and secure territory with a small investment. A Big Apple Bodega restaurant franchise will require a one-time investment between $115,500 to $164,500. This will include a one-time franchise fee of $30,000 and a 3-month cash reserve. The initial investment will cover furniture and fixtures, food trucks (includes build out and wrapping), and grand opening advertising.
Becoming a franchisee with Big Apple Bodega will mean that you’ll be in the business for yourself, but we guarantee that you will not be by yourself. We’ll give you the support you need from the grand opening day and beyond. We’ll teach you everything you need to know through our comprehensive training program which includes classroom and on-the-job training. On the classroom side, 13 hours, will be an in-depth explanation of our history, marketing strategies, company protocols, and operations. While the on-the-job training, 14 hours, will be a more hands-on experience that will educate you further on our daily schedule.
